While the rest of baseball is watching one historic record fall, I am turning the other cheek and will pay attention to a different record.
Manny Corpas, P Colorado Rockies, is on pace to obliterate the year-old Single Season Holds record of 36. For the uninformed, a Hold is like a save, except in the middle of a game. If you come into what would be a save situation, but it is only the 7th inning, and you "hold" the lead, you get a Hold. The best part is that you can get a Hold even if your pen blows the lead. This means your team doesn't need to win the game to get the Hold.
As of May 28, the Corpas-O-Meter is at 12
